Welcome to LAU’s Second “United in Action” Symposium, a gathering that brings together Schools of Pharmacy and all healthcare programs at the Lebanese American University and across universities throughout Lebanon in a shared commitment to collaboration, innovation, and excellence in health professions education.

This symposium reflects years of dedicated work to build, strengthen, and sustain meaningful Interprofessional initiatives — from curriculum design and shared learning experiences to collaborative research and practice-based partnerships. It is a space where educators, clinicians, and researchers come together not as separate disciplines or institutions, but as partners in a collective journey to exchange experiences, share stories, and advance scholarship in IPE. Inspired by the global call for collaborative practice championed by the World Health Organization and aligned with international efforts such as those of the Interprofessional Education Collaborative, we reaffirm our commitment to preparing health professionals who learn with, from, and about one another to better serve patients and communities across Lebanon.

We extend our sincere thanks to all participating Schools and Programs for their engagement and partnership, and to the members of the Organizing Committee whose dedication and teamwork made this symposium possible.
